Hi, everyone. Long Time No See. Today I will introduce you a new and wonderful VPN service, the Free and Safe Linkideo.

Linkideo is located in UK as a VPN provider. They are launching a free VPN service these days.

You can create a free VPN account to get a VPN link of 128 kbit/s download. You can use the account in different operating systems, Windows XP, Windows Vista, MAC OS, Linux. If you don’t know to use, please turn to Linkideo’s HowTo page.

After you set up a VPN link, you can surf on the Internet freely. If you check your IP address, you will find you get a IP address of France.

The shortcoming of Linkideo’s free account is that you can only use it for web surfing. You can’t use your IM and other Web based clients.

Anyway, Linkideo’s free service is great. Sing up and get your own free account!

What happens if I upgrade from free to paid service? Do you have multiple servers/IPs or only one? Can I switch servers/IPs?

Another question for Linkideo: is there a test account to test non Web based applications?

Too bad this thing requires a user account. Hotspot Shield, by Anchor Free, is also free but does not require user to signup. And instead of providing a UK IP address, HSS provides a United States IP address (I usually get one in Englewood, Colorado)–much more helpful for viewing US-exclusive content like network tv or movies on Hulu and Fancast. No disclosure of information and complete privacy. Hit up my blog for more information:
